IKEA has nice shelves, which are perfect for storage of any kind of outdoor gear. They look good enough for inside a home, hallway, or closet; and durable enough to erect in a garage. Assembly is required, but not difficult at all. Even a girl can do it.
Also available is a Metal Shelf, that is not quite as bulky.
